Her station is the wheel at the throat, where whatever passes through is made clean.

In the stotra the name is chanted as it stands, viśuddhicakranilayā, as part of Shloka 98. In the nāmāvalī, the form used for arcana(worship with an offering at each name), it is turned to the dative, the case of offering: “to her”. Then it is framed by oṃ before and namaḥ, “salutation”, after.

The cakra series begins here and descends from the throat to the root before rising to the brow and the crown, each wheel given its own panel of names and closed by its presiding yoginī. The pairing of the seven yoginīs with the wheels that the hymn follows is not the one set out in the Ṣaṭcakranirūpaṇa and the manuals that depend on it; the two arrangements agree at only some of the wheels.
