She brings the sovereign splendour of Tripurā under her control, and confers that same mastery on those who worship her.

In the stotra the name is chanted as it stands, tripurāśrīvaśaṅkarī, as part of Shloka 179. In the nāmāvalī, the form used for arcana(worship with an offering at each name), it is turned to the dative, the case of offering: “to her”. Then it is framed by oṃ before and namaḥ, “salutation”, after.
