She stands at the heart of the solar disc as she does at the heart of the moon's, heat answering to coolness.

In the stotra the name is chanted as it stands, bhānumaṇḍalamadhyasthā, as part of Shloka 65. In the nāmāvalī, the form used for arcana(worship with an offering at each name), it is turned to the dative, the case of offering: “to her”. Then it is framed by oṃ before and namaḥ, “salutation”, after.
