She reigns over the whole of creation as its sovereign, holding an authority no other power can limit.

In the stotra the name is chanted as it stands, śrīmahārājñī, as part of Shloka 1. In the nāmāvalī, the form used for arcana(worship with an offering at each name), it is turned to the dative, the case of offering: “to her”. Then it is framed by oṃ before and namaḥ, “salutation”, after.
