Her place is the second of the six mystical circles, the wheel that yogins locate at the root of the generative organs.

In the stotra the name is chanted as it stands, svādhiṣṭhānāmbujagatā, as part of Shloka 104. In the nāmāvalī, the form used for arcana(worship with an offering at each name), it is turned to the dative, the case of offering: “to her”. Then it is framed by oṃ before and namaḥ, “salutation”, after.

The panel opened here closes at kākinīrūpadhāriṇī, so it is Kākinī who presides over this wheel in the hymn; the Ṣaṭcakranirūpaṇa gives svādhiṣṭhāna to Rākiṇī instead.
