Presiding over the maṇipūra station, she takes on the shape of the Tantric goddess Lākinī, addressed with the respectful title of mother.

In the stotra the name is chanted as it stands, lākinyambāsvarūpiṇī, as part of Shloka 103. In the nāmāvalī, the form used for arcana(worship with an offering at each name), it is turned to the dative, the case of offering: “to her”. Then it is framed by oṃ before and namaḥ, “salutation”, after.

The having lies in the suffix -in, so lākinyambāsvarūpa is the compound and svarūpiṇī the taddhita made on it; the name is also read as a bahuvrīhi, she who has Mother Lākinī for her form. At this wheel the hymn's pairing of yoginī and cakra agrees with that of the Ṣaṭcakranirūpaṇa, though the two schemes part company at other stations.
