The whole succession of teachers is her body, so that reverence paid to any of them reaches her.

In the stotra the name is chanted as it stands, gurumaṇḍalarūpiṇī, as part of Shloka 138. In the nāmāvalī, the form used for arcana(worship with an offering at each name), it is turned to the dative, the case of offering: “to her”. Then it is framed by oṃ before and namaḥ, “salutation”, after.
