She is the good luck that attaches to rule, the splendour without which a throne is only furniture.

In the stotra the name is chanted as it stands, rājyalakṣmīḥ, as part of Shloka 135. In the nāmāvalī, the form used for arcana(worship with an offering at each name), it is turned to the dative, the case of offering: “to her”. Then it is framed by oṃ before and namaḥ, “salutation”, after.
